Personally Identifiable Information (PII) is any information that may be used to identify an individual, including, but not limited to, a first and last name, home or other physical address, an email address, phone number or other contact information, whether at work, at home, or a cell phone. CarQualifier collects PII from you only when you choose to make it available to us on our Service, and may include, without limitation, your first and last name, the city where you live, your zip code, your phone number, and your email address. CarQualifier will ask for your residence zip code to find dealerships in your area that have the vehicles you're interested in. If you are using our Service, we will also ask you to provide us with your address, social security number, date of birth, and yearly income which is used to calculate the lease and finance payments you can afford on an array of vehicles you are credit qualified to acquire. CarQualifier also automatically receives, and records, information on our server logs from your browser, including your IP address, cookie information, and the page you request.
We may also receive PII about you from Third Parties, including, information about your transactions, purchase history, or relationships with various product and service providers, and your use of certain applications. An example would be if you access our Service through a Third Party connection or log-in, like Facebook Connect. By
the CarQualifier application, linking your account to CarQualifier's service, that Third Party may pass certain information about your use of its service to CarQualifier. This information could include, but is not limited to, the user ID associated with your account, any information you have permitted the Third Party to share with us, and any information you have made public in connection with that service.
If you log on to the Service through a Third Party connection, you give CarQualifier permission to access, store, and use any information that you permit the applicable Third Party connection to share with CarQualifier in accordance with your privacy settings with the applicable Third Party connection. This information may be displayed on the Service while you are logged on to the Service. If you choose to log on to the Service through a Third Party connection, we are not responsible or liable for the privacy practices or content of the applicable Third Party connection.
User Generated Content:
is any information, text, images, or other content generated and submitted to or through CarQualifier by Users of the Service. This may include comments, questions that arise during normal usage of the Service, or through the CarQualifier blog at (blog address). Users of the Service should take care not to post information that includes Personally Identifiable Information (PII) that you do not want to be made public or do not want Third Parties to view or use. Any information posted in the comment areas may be made public. To request removal of your PII from our blog or community forum, contact us at email@example.com. In some cases, we may not be able to remove your PII, in which case, we will let you know if we are unable to do so and why.
Non-Personally Identifiable Information (Non-PII):
CarQualifier also collects information about your interactions with our Service in a manner and format that does not identify you as an individual; this is referred to as Non-Personally Identifiable Information (Non-PII). Normally, we do not combine or associate Non-PII with your Personally Identifiable Information (PII). If we do combine Non-PII with PII, we treat the combined information as PII. We may collect, use, and disclose Non-PII as set forth below.
CarQualifier uses Third Party analytics tools to help measure traffic and usage trends for our Service. These tools collect information sent by your browser as part of a web page request, including the web pages you visit, your browser add-ons, your browser's width and height, and other information that assists us in improving our Service. The Third Party analytics services may aggregate the data they collect with data they collect from other websites to enhance their offering of analytical services, but will not use any information they collect for any directed marketing purposes.
CarQualifier may share information relating to visitors and users of the Service with affiliated or unaffiliated Third Parties on an aggregate basis. We note that, while this information will not identify you personally, in some instances these Third Parties may able to combine this information with other data they have about you, or that they receive from Third Parties, in a manner that allows them to identify you personally.
Information Automatically Collected Through the Service: CarQualifier, along with our Third Party service partners, vendors, and business partners may automatically collect information about you when you use the Service. The information automatically collected about you may include, but is not limited to, device ID, device type, browser type and version, and geo-location.

These server logs may include anonymous information such as your web request, IP address, browser type, referring pages, exit pages and URLs, number of clicks, and how you interact with links on our Service, domain names, landing pages, pages viewed, and other such information.
Clear Gifs/Web Beacons Information:
When you use CarQualifier, we may employ clear gifs, also known as web beacons. Web beacons are small strings of code that provide a method for delivering a graphic image on a web page or in an email message for the purpose of transferring data. They are used to anonymously track the online usage patterns of our users anonymously. We may also use clear gifs in HTML-based emails sent to our users to track which emails are opened and which links are clicked by recipients. This information allows for more accurate reporting and improvement of our Service.
When you access CarQualifier by or through a mobile device, including but not limited to smart-phones, iPads or tablets, we may access, collect, monitor, and/or remotely store one or more device identifiers, as a unique device identifier. Device identifiers are small data files or similar data structures stored on or associated with your mobile device, which uniquely identify your mobile device. A device identifier may be data stored in connection with the device hardware, data stored in connection with the device's operating system or other software, or data sent to the device by CarQualifier. A device identifier may convey information to us about how you browse and use our Service. The device identifier information that we collect does not itself collect or transmit any Personally Identifiable Information (PII) to us; however, a device identifier may be used in conjunction with other information in a manner that may constitute PII. A device identifier may remain persistently on your device, to help you log in faster and enhance your navigation through CarQualifier. Some features of our Service may not function properly if use or availability of device identifiers is impaired or disabled.
When you utilize CarQualifier by or through a mobile device, we may access, collect, monitor, and/or remotely store location data, which may include GPS coordinates (i.e. latitude and/or longitude) or similar information regarding the location of your mobile device. Location data may convey to us information about how you browse and use our Service. The location data that we collect does not itself contain or transmit any Personally Identifiable Information (PII) to us; however, location data may be used in conjunction with other information in a manner that may constitute PII. Some features of CarQualifier, particularly location-based services, may not function properly if use or availability of location data is impaired or disabled.
Use of Your Information
Personally Identifiable Information (PII):
Personally Identifiable Information (PII) collected by CarQualifier is used to provide you with the CarQualifier service. We collect your email address and we will use this email address to send you notifications while using our Service. CarQualifier will collect your first and last name and your phone number to provide you with quality customer service. We may use your PII to provide you with product information, support the services offered on CarQualifier, and to notify you of technical updates, changes in policy, or other customer services. We may contract with one or more Third Party agents to provide the CarQualifier service. These Third Parties may include automobile dealerships, credit bureaus, automobile valuation agencies, website designers, website hosting companies, and others who assist in providing the information, systems, or materials to provide the CarQualifier service. Selected parts of your PII may be shared with these Third Party agents in order to provide you with the CarQualifier service. We also use your PII to send you service related emails which may include account verification, changes/updates to features of our Service, or technical and security notices. You may not opt out of service related emails.

The Dealer Underwriting Process
CarQualifier analyzes your data, both Personally Identifiable Information (PII) and Non-Personally Identifiable Information (Non-PII), for the purpose of providing you with qualified monthly payment. The monthly payment(s) provided to you as a result of using CarQualifier's service(s) are informational and are independent of any Dealers and their Lenders. The final terms are subject to the Dealer's underwriting process.
Sharing/Disclosure of Your Information
Personally Identifiable Information (PII):
CarQualifier does not share, sell, rent, or trade your Personally Identifiable Information (PII) with Third Parties except for the purposes of providing our Service to you. We may share your PII with our trusted Third party partners who assist us in operating our Service, conducting our business, or servicing you, so long as those parties agree to keep your PII confidential. PII collected from you is only disclosed by CarQualifier for your use of the CarQualifier website, and to comply with any requirements of law. CarQualifier may also disclose PII if required to do so by law, or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to:
a) conform to the edicts of the law or comply with legal process served on CarQualifier or CarQualifier's website;
b) protect and defend the rights or property of CarQualifier; or
c) act in urgent circumstances to protect the personal safety of users of CarQualifier, its website, or the public. Any PII or content that you voluntarily disclose for posting to our Service, such as User Generated Content, becomes available to the public, as controlled by any applicable privacy settings. CarQualifier may, at any time, buy or sell/divest the company, or any combination of its products, services, assets, and/or businesses. PII such as customer names, email addresses, and other user information related to the Service will likely be one of the items transferred in these types of transactions. We may also transfer or assign such information in the course of corporate divestitures, mergers, acquisitions, bankruptcies, dissolutions, or similar transactions or proceedings.
Non-Personally Identifiable Information (Non-PII):
CarQualifier may share Non-Personally Identifiable Information (Non-PII), including information obtained through tools such as cookies, log files, device identifiers, location data and clear gifs such as anonymous usage data, referring/exit pages and URLs, platform types, number of clicks, etc., with our Third Party business partners for the purposes described in the section above on "Use of Your Information". We may also aggregate or otherwise strip, data of all personally identifying characteristics and may share that aggregated, anonymized data with our Third Party business partners. In some cases, CarQualifier may or may not charge Third parties for this aggregated information.
Your Choices About Your Information
CarQualifier will use your email address to send you notifications while using our Service. We will send you strictly service related announcements when we deem it is necessary to do so. For example, if our Service is temporarily suspended for maintenance, we may send you an email. Generally, you may not opt-out of these communications, which are not promotional in nature. If you do not wish to receive them, you have the option to deactivate your account.
Opting Out of Collection of Personally Identifiable Information (PII):
You may decline to submit any Personally Identifiable Information (PII) through CarQualifier, in which case, we may not be able to provide certain services to you.
Opting Out of Collection of Non-Personally Identifiable Information (Non-PII):
In order to completely opt out of the collection of any information through cookies or other technology, you must actively manage the settings on your browser. Please refer to your browser's technical information for instructions on how to delete and disable cookies, and other tracking/recording tools. Note that disabling cookies on your browser prevents CarQualifier, or its business partners, from tracking your browser's activities in relation to our Service, and for use in targeted online advertising; however, doing so may disable many of the features available through CarQualifier.
Opting Out of Online Advertising:
CarQualifier may share Non-Personally-Identifiable Information (Non-PII) with our trusted Third Party business partners to deliver online advertisements to your browser or mobile device through our Service, and/or to Third Party websites and services.
The Security of Your Information
CarQualifier uses commercially reasonable physical, managerial, and technical safeguards to preserve the integrity and security of all information collected from/through our Service. CarQualifier protects the security of your information during transmission by using standard secure socket layer (SSL) software, which encrypts the information you input.
Compromise of Information:

Because we cannot control the activities of Third Parties, we cannot accept responsibility for any use of your Personally Identifiable Information (PII) by such Third Parties, and we cannot guarantee that they will adhere to the same privacy practices as CarQualifier. We encourage you to review the privacy statements of any other service provider from whom you request services. If you visit a Third Party website that is linked to a CarQualifier site, you should read their privacy statement before providing any PII.
CarQualifier will collect Personally and Non-Personally Identifiable Information (PII and Non-PII) to perform a credit check and provide a qualification status using Equifax's® services. This information may include:
- First and last name (middle initial and suffix, if applicable);
- Social Security Number;
- Date of birth;
- Telephone number;
- Email address;
- Current and previous mailing address.
To fulfill CarQualifier's request to perform a credit check, Equifax® will verify your identity. A series of questions (anywhere from two to six questions) will be asked that you would need to provide answers to and that only you should know; this is done for your safety and protection. The answers to these questions are used to verify your identity only and are not provided to any nonaffiliated Third Party.
Information Collected from Others:
Equifax® collects information about you from Third Parties, including AnnualCreditReport.com (the centralized service for consumers to request their annual credit reports), parties from whom they request information in connection with your request for dispute resolution, and other credit reporting agencies when you place initial fraud or active duty alerts.
Information collected from Third Parties will be treated in the same manner as information collected by Equifax®. Equifax® will not share Personally Identifiable Information (PII) obtained from Third Parties in personally identifiable form; however, Equifax® may share aggregated, Non-Personally Identifiable Information (Non-PII) obtained from Third Parties in a form that will not allow you to be identifiable.

- Dispute of Information in Your Credit File: If you believe your credit file may have inaccurate information, we recommend you obtain a copy of your credit report from either AnnualCreditReport.com or any of the three credit bureaus, and review your credit information for accuracy. If upon review of your credit information you discover inaccurate information, you may initiate a dispute to correct the information with the agency that provided you with your credit report.
CarQualifier cannot initiate a dispute on your behalf nor can we access any information regarding disputes on your credit file.
- Fraud Alerts: If you believe you have been a victim of identity theft, you may contact any, or all, of the three credit bureaus and request that a fraud alert be placed on your credit file. CarQualifier does not have the ability to place an alert nor can we access information pertaining to any alerts on your credit file.
