Slack Workspace Welcome Message
This app sends a customizable welcome message for users who join your Slack
workspace. There's no setup required - all you need to do is install it
and it will start working immediately!
When a user joins your workspace using Slack's team_join event, the app will
retrieve the new user's email and profile information and send them a private welcome
message. The welcome message contains dummy links by default, but you can easily
customize it after installation. You can use it to point the new team member to
links and other onboarding resources!
The app will also send an announcement message to your #general channel
announcing the new team member's presence to the rest of the channel. Like the
welcome message, this is completely customizable after installation!
